In the 2024 budget, the government has announced a focus on achieving self-reliance in oilseeds such as mustard, groundnut, sesame, soybean, and sunflower. This includes plans for research on high-yielding varieties, modern farming techniques, market linkages, procurement, value addition, and crop insurance. The Solvent Extractors’ Association of India (SEAI) has welcomed this initiative and is seeking adequate financial support for the Atmanirbhar Oil Seeds Abhiyan.

6. M K Proteins Ltd.: The company refines crude oils to produce Refined Rice Bran Oil, Canola Oil, Soybean Oil, Sunflower Oil, and Rice Bran Bleached Oil, with a daily refining capacity of 250 tons.

7. Kriti Nutrients Ltd.: The company manufactures refined soya edible oil and value-added products from soya beans, with a refining capacity of 60,000 MTPA and a solvent extraction capacity of 360,000 MTPA.

8. Gokul Refoils and Solvent Ltd.: The company is involved in seed processing, solvent extraction, and edible oil refining & has an extraction capacity of 1,000 TPD and a refining capacity of 600 TPD.

9. Modi Naturals Ltd.: The company manufactures and markets edible oils, with its flagship brand being Oleev Oil, including products like Oleev Extra Virgin Oil, Oleev Extra Light Oil, Oleev Active etc.

10. KN Agri Resources Ltd.: The company is engaged in the solvent extraction and refining of edible oil from soybean and production of soya de-oiled cake (DOC).

11. Mangalam Global Enterprise Ltd.: The company manufactures and trades in edible and non-edible oils, seeds, and their derivatives.
